BloombergNEF is seeing ’energy storage systems’ – probably battery cells in packs, in 20’ shipping containers, decked out with supporting gear (HVAC, etc), and some sort of bus or combiner – below $100/kWh. Probably doesn’t include a DC to DC converter, inverter, and maybe no battery management/controller.
Still – 5 MWh containers coating $500,000
