Installing solar power in South Florida is a special challenge because of hurricanes! Local wind code requires that we use hardware that can withstand up to 185 miles per hour of wind uplift. This means using heavier hardware, that is stronger and custom designed to meet the Dade County Building code.
As well, building in cities like Coral Gables, means you need to make the house look good – you can’t just throw a mess up. And, while installing, you can’t bother neighbors. So, lots of extra love – but in the end, its a beautiful installation.
